Due to the versatility and properties of stones, they can be used in exteriors and interiors as well. Some considerations may be applied depending on the porosity and finish of the stone, for example applying an impregnator to protect from water or other elements.

Examples: Acrylic copolymer, Polyurethane wood glues, PU construction grade adhesives, Epoxy, Construction grade multi-purpose adhesive. -How can I cut ULTRASTONE? Cutting straight lines and curves is best done using a wet saw with a diamond blade. You can also use a long nose tin snip. See this video: ULTRASTONE installation video
ULTRASTONE is suitable for interior and exterior use. It can be adapted to any shape from curves to edges and the applications are endless.
It is a fireproof natural product (B1 rated fire Certification).
It is best to pre-seal Ultrastone sheets prior to the installation, but can also be sealed after. This protects and seals the face from adhesives and grout during application and handling. Ultrastone can be sealed with the same sealers used for stone.
There is no need for maintenance, only if dirty, use a brush, vacuum, or mild soap with water.

The surface of the Ultrastone is a natural stone, but the backing or support is fiberglass which is 100% waterproof. Can seal the surface to avoid staining and must close the gaps between each sheet to avoid water passing through, only in wet areas.
Make sure you cut straight and place as close as possible, just easy the edges with a soft sandpaper

You can do it by yourself due to its properties, lightweight, easy to cut and install, but if you want a professional finish, we recommend a contractor.

For outdoors, don’t completely joint the two pieces at the corner, Both pieces of product leave out of 2-3 mm from the corner. Then use the grout bag to do the grouting on the corner edge. When the grout starts solidifying, use a round steel bar to caulk. If the grout overflow outside of the material, use a scraper to wipe off the excess grout when the grout is half dry. You can use a silicone adhesive gun to do the grouting.
45-degree corners
Use the homogeneous and flat pieces. Using a small grinder to make a 45 chamfer on the back. When installing it into the wall, paste it with 100% coverage. Press the corner with hand, if there is a gap or groove, use the same color grout to fill in. If the corner is not flat, level and coarse.
